Jordan is still working at Honda, making big dollars

Our vacation to Banff was great

I extended my part of the vacation and lived there for two months

I drove home from my Alberta experience with the flu bug!

Since being home, I've moved out into my own little appartment, worked as a computer technition at a local business for one month (was fired because I wasn't "happy enough" in the position), spent more then a month looking for a new job, and finally found one working in a portrait studio (just started today, so far so good), and got a new kitty, his name is Fritz.

Because I take pictures with intent to sell now, I do not post what I considder "good" photos on dA... and because I rarely take photos that are meant for dA, everything is usually on Facebook now.

Hello everyone! Long time no chat.

Business-- Well, I have hit a hiccup, the name I chose is registered already, so I need to pick a new one. For now, I am working off my own personal name. Business is slow, still no paid shoots, but soon enough.

School-- Well, I am enrolled in NYIP finally, and am just about complete unit 1. It has been severely boring covering the basics, especially the last book of Unit 1. It is "how to use your camera" well... I sell cameras and print pictures for a living aside from taking them. I completed my tests without reading the books! Bah, oh well. It has been helpful and I have learnt things that I didnt know before. Would I reccomend it? So far, yes I would.

Work-- My 1 year anniversary at the local Wal-Mart photo centre came and gone with great depression. I love my job, HATE HATE HATE the evil company. My raise after 1 year of working my ass off and bending over backwards was a whole 30 cents. Hardly worth it since taxes chew away my extra earnings. I am waiting patiently for my opportunity to say f*** you Wal-Mart and start a new job, or have my business fully launched.

Jordan/Me-- We have been together for nearly 3 years and 7 months. The relationship is wooonderfuul still, however we are human and we do have our problems. EXCITING NEWS! Jordan has quit his job at Staples just shy of his two year anniversary of being there. FINALLY. That company is just as bad as Wal-Mart at times. What is exciting though is his new job! He is a car salesmen at Western Honda. He will be making a minimum of double his current income PLUS comission. Why is this so exciting? If he is successful and sticks to the job, about one year from now we will MOVE OUT!! and not just move out, we are going to buy a house! I can't WAIT!

Trips-- So far this year I have made it to Winnipeg (back in February), Saskatoon (back in May) which was to see the Phantom of the Opera travelling stage production (AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!!! If you EVER have the opportunity to see it, GO even if you don't care for operas, it is AMAZING!!!!) and I hope that I get to see it several more times in my life!!

The next current trip is happening in August. We are going back to Banff people! WOO HOO! My most favourite place EVER. we are sleeping there 6 nights, soaking in hot springs, white water rafting, hiking and sight seeing like crazy, SOOO excited!

I am trying to make a choice, either January 2009 I will go to Mexico, or January 2010 when I am 21, I will go to Florida. I've been to Florida before, but not to Mexico, but I dont know if I will have the money by January 2009 to go or not. My aunty and uncle are like snow birds, they spend 6 months of the year south, and 6 months of the year here. Basically all I have to pay for is my flights there and back then spending money. STOKED. I want to see the world so! Any trip is a good trip!

House-- Season 4 of the popular TV series is being released very soon! August 9th I do believe, I can't wait. I chose to not watch a sniff of it on TV this past year because of the stupid writers strike, so I am very excited to get the DVD set. And house in different terms, as in my parents house; I have kicked my father OUT of the basement. I now have a generally smoke free place to chill, and will be less ashamed to have friends over.
