Peepers 1 of 2

Okay so you are probably wondering why there is a picture of a dove sitting outside on a weedwhacker that is in the catagory of "domesticated birds."

This is Peepers. Aunty Mel saved him when he was smaller then a tennis ball (he fell into a little pool and couldn't get out, and no nest was found... She's also a vet.) so she took this poor birdy into her own hands and mothered him indoors, and when he was strong enough she put him into her little outdoor sanctuary built for rehabiliting birds. Well poor Peepers here is half tame half wild. He comes and goes just like a teenager, not scared of humans but doenst think much of being confined unless if its on his own terms. He flies around for a few hours and always comes home.. Unfortunately he has not found other doves to group with, so I think they have a pet, for he wont be flying south for the winter.
